FOCUS ON CARING…
Asbury’s Sharing and Caring Group

Four years ago, four ladies met together to discuss the problems of becoming widows. They decided to have a coffee to discuss the idea of forming a support group. The SAC Group was born. An open invitation was placed in the Sunday bulletin inviting others in similar situations to join. Little did they realize that four years later they would have a problem finding a restaurant that could accommodate the size of the group!

The SAC Group now meets four times a month...

􀃑 For dinner the second Monday of each month.
􀃑 For a sharing and business meeting the fourth Tuesday of each month.
􀃑 For a game day the third Monday of each month.
􀃑 For brunch the third Saturday of each month.
􀃑 They also meet for other fun trips.

They now have men who have become active in SAC.
SAC Group members face many challenges, such as running a home alone.
Their fears are many, but they have each other to lean on.
SAC Motto:
To keep the light burning
