"ASBURY MISSIONS "INVESTING IN KIDS"
We will collect bags on the 3rd Sunday and return them on the 4th Sunday for delivery to the school shortly after. Since this is a Community Pantry, we do not have to be as concerned about small cans and boxes. The children do not have to haul the food home on a bus as most live very close to the school and are usually picked up by their parents or family members. Many children stay and participate in the local Boys and Girls Club where they do homework and participate in many activities.
Red Bag Items Needed:
- Canned soup, vegetables & fruit.
- Canned chicken & tuna.
- Rice, pasta & pasta sauce.
- Canned spaghetti, mac & cheese.
- Cereal, pop tarts & oatmeal.
- Toliet paper, tissues, paper towels & feminine items.
