Do You Suspect Child Abuse?

Immediate help:  Generally, calls of suspected child abuse are kept confidential and callers may remain anonymous, if they prefer.

• Dial 911

• Central Florida Helpline or 407-740-7477 - 24 hours a day

• Look at The National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse Web Site -      Help for both parents and children.

• Look at the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Web Site - Help for both parents and children.

• Local Crisis Centers:

  • Maitland: Central Florida Helpline Crisis Phone: 407-740-7477

• Adult & Child Abuse HotLine - 1-800-962-2873

  • A state wide hotline for help if you are being abused.

  • A registry for known abusers.
